Fellowship of the Ring is on TV at least once a week and I always put it on but the beginning is just so stupid I turn it off. I think I've seen the end of The Two Towers, and I saw ROTK in theaters but fell asleep early on.

I watched the extended editions with a friend for the first time earlier this year. Yes they were great, but I think I need to watch them by myself and truly pay attention to fully understand everything. They're very well done, I'm just not usually this kind of subject matter's fan.
