It has one of the sadder, more pathetic moments of the series. I mean that as a compliment by the way. Otherwise, not as much as the other seasons.

I think season 5 was my least liked season. Didn't care for the newspaper angle and what McNulty was doing.

A character. He just came in and took over.  He was cold blooded and the most heartless and ruthless of them all. At least the Barksdale's were a family operation and Stringer took it to another level running it as a business.

Okay now that you guys have taken me back I will say season 1 was the best season for me.

 

The best part of the series was when they came together (the misfit cops) came together and started piecing together those phone calls.
