Originally filmed in 1999 on a budget of $8 million as a made-for-TV pilot, Mulholland Dr. (1999), new scenes were filmed one year later on a $7 million budget given by the French film studio Studio Canal to wrap up the open ending which had been left unresolved in the original version so that a TV series could follow.

I haven't seen it but isn't this the film where Naomi Watts makes out with another woman? By proxy doesn't that make it one of the best films ever?

It's a complete and utter shame Mulholland Drive and Citizen Kane are on the list.  

 

I do find it funny though it's on the list but there isn't a single negative review anywhere to affirm the claim at number 34, whatever at least those are the last contrarian rankings.
