This is one of these movies that didn't need a battle at the end, the boring battle really drags the movie down, it could have been a perfectly great 110 minutes movie. Shichinosuke Nakamura and Watanabe were hislaurly bad, Cruise was decent and Koyuki was amazing in her role. I think the best thing about this movie was the score, a fucking masterpiece and one of Zimmer's best. Also, gorgeous cinematography 60/100

Fantastic movie with an emotional story and a very moving score.

 

That scene with the boy crying because Cruise was going to war was so perfect i had tears in my eyes.
