Overall not only here on this forum but with general audiences as well. 

 

 

Or in other words was overhyped and the end result was nowhere near as good as expected based on hype and buzz? 

Which film promised to be of great quality and ended up being nowhere as good? Also take into consideration the box office performance of the film as well 

 

 

Whatever ever film wins the poll, the thread will be renamed to "X" movie is most overrated film of 2013.

Are you talking creative expectations only? MOS opened to $116m (or $128m, take your pick). That's certainly well above most people's expectations. Even its final gross is above what a lot of people thought at the beginning of the year.

Its a mix of both box office and quality..

 

 

Of course box office plays more into a factor for saying Star Trek 2.

Not sure how MoS was overhyped when it broke the June OW record.But yes, I agree this was a not so secret attempt to bash MoS.
