I thought this movie came out in 2011. James Marsden was good.

 

 

Naw seriously, only watched the Peckinpah version. Great movie. A-

what starts out as an unassuming drama about an american in a rough rural england town turns into an irrepressible nightmare of violence. it has a clear horror vibe, and the final sequence is reminiscent of slasher films, but in a good way - well except that last jump scare but let's just forget about that hilariously out of place moment. it's also a pretty complex piece on how humans react in situations of dangerous uncertainty. intense.
