Good increase! I can see the next one really expanding on OW now that we've had two solid installments.Also my cinema had a theatre average of over $30k yesterday for Doctor Who. Though the $25 tickets helped.

THG had already performed much better here then anywhere else outside of the domestic market.  Australia was 3rd after the NA and the UK and it actually had a bigger opening weekend then the UK.  Just like the domestic market it didn't have as much room to grow.

#2 for sunday and #3 for weekend over 1.5m, there are more screening mon-wed, similar in UK #2 for Sat and will be #3 for weekend (some Sun screenings)

Wow that is impressive. (Dr who)While the ow for catching fire is good I'm a little disappointed. Still I think this has some good WOM. Though is it 40m good. Somehow I get the feeling this will still wind up under 40m at this point. Looks like we will miss out on 40m + grosser this calendar year :(Ps have seen the film and loved it.

THG was at $11,344,354 at this point.  An increase of 41%.

 

An excellent $1.825m for the limited Sunday to Wednesday run of Doctor Who.  Most cinemas only had a single showing on each weekday.

CF should hold better than THG I think given that the school holidays are coming up. It might be a bit too late, but it'll help those late legs.

Seems to me CF is pretty good in Europe, meh in Asia, and spectacular in English-speaking countries

CF breaking away from THG's path in its second weekend at my work. Though CF only sold 12 more tickets then THG did over the opening weekend...

 

 

But its well over 500 tickets ahead at the moment!
