Cloud Atlas finally gets a release this weekend plus I Give it a Year also opens. The big news I just discovered. Back to the Future has screenings on Friday night.And on the 14th of March. Special screenings of Doctor Who S6 E1&2

With the horrible weather across Sydney this weekend, definitely going to be a positive effect on the box office.

Oscar effect? Yes!SLP dropped a mere $8000 from last weekend. $1.044m, down from $1.052m last weekend.Given that there's basically no major film in release, all films had very good drops from last weekend, but from the quick look I had, SLP had the best by far.

Not many. Only 4 of the Event/GU cinemas in NSW. I new there was a movie missing when I was looking at the session times on the weekend.

Warner just dumped Cloud Atlas. They clearly couldn't be bothered to market a movie that had not played well in pretty much every country it's been released in. I'm surprised it didn't go straight to DVD over here.
