I doubt Lion will get to $25m.  It will lose a lot of screens this weekend. with 50 Shades.

Yeah, I initially thought there was a bigger drop from the Wednesday previews to the Thursday. There must have been early previews in the cume figure.

I've realised now why I thought FSD was having a big drop.  I was on my phone and looking at the full opening week for FSOG rather then the opening weekend.

They're expecting construction to start sometime in 2018.

Assuming it happens and assuming 525 can go back to way use to be  have 5 screens at best, not enough

I suspect 505 George St will be demolished by the end of next year. 

 

As I said earlier I wish the 2 sites could have been consolidated and they built a brand new complex in the podium.

 

Maybe 4 VMAX, 6-8 Gold Class and 8-10 regular theatres.
