Changed my mind. I think Sony has a chance to win the year since a part of THE HOBBIT: AUJ's gross is gonna count next year.

Sony only have Skyfall, Here Comes the Boom and Zero Dark Thirty left to release but they've had a great year, the year before the highest grossing Sony film domestically and internationally was The Smurfs although they have a few smaller hits. Nothing can beat 2010 which was impressive where they manage to do really well despite the lack of franchises and tentpoles but was let down by expensive flops in December of that year.
