Barely a B ... very uneven ride. There were some great scenes and others which I found cringeworthy even then (was 15 at the time). The best thing about it were some of the landscapes and the music - very catchy theme.

I saw this as a 7 year old and loved it. Was so magical and the villain so terrifying. It holds a special place in my heart along with many movies from the 80's.

I saw it again 2 days ago with my wife just for fun. Still liked it. Obviously at this age you can see its a pretty badly made movie even if it still looks gorgeous with the scenery and those weird sets.

Seems I still have a crush for the princess at this age lol

Its a C grade movie but I'm gonna give it an A just because of the memories.
