CoolioD1
snowpiercer is dumb, I like Guardians but the screenplay is a mess and whiplash isn't an adapted screenplay (don't cite the academy because you don't want to look as dumb as they do)
Empire
force majeure yo. accept no substitutes. I'd implore people to not vote for the foreign film or documentary categories if they haven't seen all the nominated films. that way we can avoid something dumb like life itself winning just because I know it's the one most people here have seen. I am voting for Two Days, One Night. I agree with your second point. Luckily I have seen all 3 documentaries. I'll definitely hold off on Doc categories, but I loved We Are The Best so it'll be tempting not to
BadAtGender
The screenplay noms were confusing as fuck. What makes something adapted or not? Like, I did nom GBH, but I did it as adapted. Better to do just a best screenplay, to be honest. You could even make it a 10 slot, same as BP.

Blankments
LEGO for original screenplay is just silly That's why I asked if it belonged in Adapted (where it probably should be, but everyone said Original, so that's where it went)
CoolioD1
That's why I asked if it belonged in Adapted (where it probably should be, but everyone said Original, so that's where it went) How can you adapt a movie from little plastic blocks? it's original
