Dominated by Exxdee who took the lead mid game and easily held onto the end for this part.  darkelf made a run near the end ultimately finishing in 2nd.  the usual suspects grim22, kayu, and dajk rounded out the top 5. Well done Exxdee for a well played weekly game.

Exxdee was also the winner of the SOTM.  Interestingly the top 3 here was the same on the weeklys.  Telemachos made it into the top 5 here though.  Also one our overall top 5 players for the game killed his chances of winning had he not done so badly here  -  to be honest SOTM had a rather large impact this year with 15 players actually losing on this chart.

Interestingly the highest top 15 came from our 32nd placed Baumer.  If only he'd played more of the game otherwise as he was the only player to get 14 / 15 correct.    I myself also figured in the top 10 for the top 15 domestic totals but could only manage 29th overall.

OVERALL SCORES : 20th to 11th

 

 

 

You are the players who for whatever reason just fell short of reaching the top 10 overall.  Most interestingly, the SOTM and Weekly winner Exxdee ended up in 11th thanks to a much weaker Pre-Season than he probably hoped for - his losing score on the Worldwide chart especially made it hard.  The Panda also figured very highly on the Pre-Season but cost himself a chance at reaching a higher spot thanks his disappointing weekly score and loss on the SOTM questions.  DAJK, a top 5 winner on the weekly chart finished in 16th overall - another disappointing finish.

10th Place

 

: Numbers : 1,474,000

 

Numbers has a fantastic Top 15 which got the 2nd top score for that with 667k.  Overall for Pre-Season he manage a very reasonable 1,082k.  His SOTM and Weekly scores were however a little more middle of the road leaving him in 10th overall.

 

9th Place

 

: Simionski : 1,495,000

 

Simionski, like numbers  had an excellent Pre-Season with 1,116k.  He managed to do reasonably well across all of the charts on the Pre-Season.  Unfortunately his SOTM score restricted his  chances at a higher score with only 101k.  His weekly score was more middle of the road with 278k.

 

8th Place

 

: Dipper : 1,507,000

 

Dipper also managed an excellent Pre-Season with 1,114k.  He was let down by a very disappointing Worldwide Score of -95k (one of many who did horribly on that chart).  His SOTM score was also a little down hence his 8th place finish.

 

7th Place

 

: Mattrek : 1,512,000

 

Mattrek managed to score the highest on the Pre-Season questions but was cost a much higher position on the chart thanks to a so so top 15 domestic and a complete failure on the Opening Weekends chart.  His remaining score were reasonable enough to have made it higher if the before mentioned charts had been better.

 

6th Place

 

: DamienRoc : 1,564,000

 

DamienRoc just missed on a top 5 finish (you will see how close you were in the next post).  His Pre-Season was one of the top 5 scores for the game.  It was helped by strong scores (but not topping) in nearly all categories.  His SOTM score did let him down with only 93k.

so without much further ado.....

 

5th Place

 

He isn't our highest running (score) mod in the game (and i'm not name dropping because no doubt you know who you are )but the old man can indeed predict.  Congratulations to Telemachos who finished the game with 1,565,000, a mere 1k ahead of Damienroc in 6th.    If it wasn't for his very disappointing Worldwide Score of -30k he could have finished a lot higher.  Thankfully he made up for that with a masterful 182k in the SOTM (the bane of many players) and a reasonable score in the weeklys  of 240k.  Finally his Top 15 score of 549k gave him the shot in the arm to break into the top 5.

Right well we are well and truely getting down the pointy end of the game.  Next spot takes the unfortunate spot of being just outside of the prizes.  And with less than 10k seperating 4th and 3rd, it went right down to the wire... so here it is:

 

4th Place

 

Kayumanggi

 

Kayu managed a stunning Pre-Season easily topping that chart with a whopping 1,292,000.  Like many before, his Worldwide Top 10 let him down managing a horrible -5k.  However his excellent Pre-Season questions (379k) and World Weekends (200k) - no idea how u screwed up the Worldwide top 10 so badly given this - made sure he figured in the top 5.  Sadly his SOTM score also held him back from a what was likely to be a top 2 finish.

3rd Place

 

Everyone's favourite chart creater.  I couldn't think of someone more deserving than this guy.  Every week, he posts that infamous update on how your top 15 is figuring against the actuals.  I am of course talking about laguy03 He made 1,595,000, only a mere 9k ahead of 4th place (sorry kayu).  He pulled in the 2nd biggest of the Pre-Season which is one of the key reasons he has figured in the top 3.  His top 15 was one of the highest scores in the game and only his Worldwide chart (like many others) let him down.
