Avatree
#81 28.61% Director: Darren Aronofsky Written by: Darren Aronofsky & Hubert Selby, Jr. The first film from Darren Aronofsky to appear on our list is 2000's Requiem for a Dream. RT Consensus: "Though the movie may be too intense for some to stomach, the wonderful performances and bleak imagery are hard to forget."
Kalo
DH2 was at #103. It still did very well. Where do you think ROTK will end up? (roughly) I really need to re-emphasise just how hard it was for any film to get on to the list. Some of the most popular films from Marvel, Nolan, Spielberg, WDAS, Star Wars, Middle-earth, Pixar, Potter, Hunger Games, Twilight, etc. If a film is on this list at all then the forum genuinely loves it. I still think ROTK is gonna end up in the top 3 honestly. great I have a feeling I'm not going to like this list very well.. Kalo
I know And DH2 would've been on the list too since it's my no. 2. DH2 was in my top 25. and it still didn't make it
Blankments
^ rank them, then combine their 100 list rankings with your own rankings and rank them again. I don't understand what this means Seen: Tropic Thunder Pacific Rim Catch Me If You Can The Perks of Being a Wallflower Wreck-It Ralph The Dark Knight Rises Frozen Life of Pi Need to see: The Royal Tenenbaums Inside Llewyn Davis Collateral Kill Bill: Volume 2 Little Miss Sunshine The Master Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban American Psycho Snatch Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1 Moonrise Kingdom Requiem for a Dream

I don't hate DH2, I just think it's overrated and that it's only the fifth or sixth best Harry Potter movie.

Avatree
Ethan, you might be waiting a while. #79 28.84% Director: Joshua Oppenheimer, Christine Cynn & Anonymous We begin the #70s with a documentary so provocative and dangerous that 49 crew members (including a co-director) refused to reveal their names, and are accredited under the name 'Anonymous'. RT Consensus: "Raw, terrifying and painfully difficult to watch, The Act of Killing offers a haunting testament to the edifying, confrontational power of documentary cinema." Predictions Please: Is The Act of Killing the only documentary on the list, or will there be more? Ethan Hunt
Ethan, you might be waiting a while. Thus means one of two things... ( most likely means the one which will not please me but, y'all know I'm a stubborn butthole when it comes to this stuff * cough * TFIOS didn't make the top 25 of 2014 *cough * so.I'll hold on to hope)

Kalo
I'm sick of people basing films saying they can't compare with their artsy boring film. Blockbusters, sci-fi, fantasy and so forth can be just as good.

For instance, of the blockbusters released in 2014, there are maybe 2 or 3 that have the intelligence of many of the best smaller films from the year. Well I'm not saying I don't like those kind of movies, I mean my Number #1 movie of 2014 was nightcrawler, not exactly a blockbuster. and a movie doesn't necessarily have to be intelligent to be great. while I don't consider Avengers quite as simple as some superhero movies, its plot is not very complex. but there is such amazing chemistry between the cast and it had so much going for it, that I loved it and would consider it one of my favorite movies of all time. and since some of my favorite genres are Superhero/Sci-fi and Fantasy. it makes sense I would list it high.
