'Poltergeist scared up another $6.6M from 3,364 screens in 41 markets. Germanynotably said “they’re here” to the tune of $1.5M which was 34% bigger than Insidious 2, per Fox. Holds were good with the UK the lead offshore market at a cume of $5.15M, followed by Brazil with $3.94M after adding $1.27M in the current frame. The international cume is now $19.15M with 20 additional markets to come over the summer.'

Deadline: Poltergeist scared up another $3.15M from 2,735 screens in 32 markets. It’s been playing for three frames now and has an offshore cume of $24.5M. There were no new plays for Fox this session, although Brazil dropped just 18% to take $959K on 456 screens; cume there is $5.18M. Germany’s 2nd frame of Gil Keenan’s update of the classic ghost-in-the-machine story was worth $774K for a total of $2.73M. Russia and Belgium will say, “They’re here,” next weekend.

Poltergeist terrified international audiences into coughing up another $3.15 million from 2,735 screens across 32 territories this weekend. The horror remake from 20th Century Fox is up to $24.49 million overseas and $68.89 million globally. Brazil is the top performing territory and grabbed $959K this weekend from 456 screens for $5.18 million after three weekends of release.

This one's almost close to the original Poltergeist WW.

The original made $76M DOM. With no OS gross.

 

That doesn't mean anything, Poltergeist was released OS, it's just that it is too old so we don't have a number.

"Poltergeist opened in six new markets this weekend and scared up $4.4 million from 2,990 screens in 31 territories, lifting its four week overseas cume to $31.06 million and the global tally to $77.75 million. Russia opened at #3 in the market with $1.57 million on 1,519 screens, while Germany increased 8% over last weekend for $530K and $4.0 million total. "
