ddddeeee
Skyfall is seeming like as divisive a score as any. I'm really not getting into it. I love Newman but the action material, of which there is a lot, is so generic. There are some nice quiet moments but I'll be joining the campaign to get Arnold back for the next one. The Stingray
Prometheus & TDKR did it for me.
Gopher
Master and Looper had great original scores. Sound is half the movie and both scores kept me strapped in.
ddddeeee
My holy trinity of the year are all animated scores. Brave, Frankenweenie and Rise of the Guardians.

Accursed Arachnid!™
Skyfall is seeming like as divisive a score as any. I'm really not getting into it. I love Newman but the action material, of which there is a lot, is so generic. There are some nice quiet moments but I'll be joining the campaign to get Arnold back for the next one.Historically, this is not unusual for Bond film music. John Barry, a Bond legend, didn't score every film. And the ones he skipped were some of the best films. Live and Let Die, The Spy Who Loved Me, For Your Eyes Only, Licence to Kill. The best Brosnan film, Goldeneye, was not scored by Arnold(he started with the supremely mediocre TND) and is seen by most as having the worst score of any Bond film. So, this bodes well for Skyfall's quality(If the reviews aren't already a good indication).
