Not that surprising, here is Big Hero 6 from last year

11 1  $10,508,182 103.7% / - 3,761 / $2,794 $71,883,199 / 5

12 2  $1,876,936 -82.1% / - 3,761 / $499 $73,760,135 / 6

 

 

All other comparable movies had Veteran's day as a Thursday, Friday or Saturday which skews comparisons slightly, but you can see the clear trend of really strong increases on VD for kids movies.

BH6 was up 103.7% on Tuesday after a 68.5% drop on Monday.

Peanuts already was up 76% on Tuesday and now is 154% on Wed.

So the jump is surprising. Probably will fall ~85% on Thursday.

 I remember we were all going on and on about that jump for BH6 last year. This one is a full 50% higher. That's pretty insane. If TGD wasn't likely to do massive numbers in just a few weeks, I would say Peanuts was on track for well over a 4x multi. TGD will probably stop that though.

Peanuts also fell 87% on Monday. This is basically showing that Peanuts will do really well on weekends and holidays but will probably be an almost afterthought on normal weekdays.

I'll guess 1.7m for Peanuts and 3.3m for Spectre on Thursday.
