BadAtGender
So, last year for the New Year's weekend this happened: On 1/5/2016 at 6:05 PM, chasmmi said: As a note, Damien over the course of parts 1 and two only drop points on Part 2: Q2. Everything else he was correct or won! Just saying, I'm feeling a lot of pressure this weekend.

Dementeleus
Interesting wrinkle for Preseason Question 17: 17)Thor 2 opened on the same Weekend back in 2011 to 85m. Will Dr. Strange’s opening weekend be larger than Thor (85.1m)? Now, obviously DR. STRANGE's OW was bigger than Thor's (which grossed 65m in May). However, the parenthetical seems clear that THOR 2 was meant (although it's slightly off, THOR 2 did 85.7m). DR. STRANGE came in under that amount. So... how will the question be graded? @chasmmi

BadAtGender
A pair of tricky SOTMs this time around. For the La La one, the Musical slot is extremely hard, thanks to how close Enchanted and Into the Woods are on the list. Unlikely to thread that 200k needle. And those last couple of slots on 12 are hard. Heck, I could see Passengers as a legit option.
Wrath
Nuts. Forgot their were two SotM's this week. Fortunately, I didn't forget to pre-emptively abstain from them, just in case I forgot to come back later.

Well that's sort of a win And hey when lala Land crashes to a sub 70M total you can be thankful you weren't a part of the disaster that will be the scores of that SOTM

chasmmi
For clarity on SOTM 13. Monster Trucks has expanded to a 3,113 screen release instead of the 2800 that BOM suggested when the question was made. As I linked specifically to the 2500 theatre list, we shall still use that list for the question even though the film itself won't be eligible. I was considering swapping it, but that would give a massive advantage to people answering now as the 3000 theater list has much higher OW and thus even a prediction like 20, could potentially win points (and huge points). It would also massively screw over anyone who predicted MISS early in the week and doesn't see this in time. So let's all just pretend that it opens in 2800 threatres
