catlover
Quiet months for Hollywood movies in Indonesia. But not the case with local movies. Particularly a comedy movie, "Agak Laen", is making a splash right now with growing admission numbers. Day 1 = 181,689 Day 2 = 195,964 / 377,653 Day 3 = 305,299 / 682,952 Day 4 = 330,038 / 1,012,990 Day 5 = 278,188 / 1,291,178 Day 6 = 280,193 / 1,571,371 Day 7 = 323,096 / 1,894,467 Day 8 = 556,533 / 2,451,000 (projection) With a long weekend just started, a day off on Election Day, great reviews and a very strong WOM, it will keep growing, possibly to be one of the biggest movies ever. With 4 other local movies playing at the same time, it feels like a mini Eid week. Eid Holiday week is usually when a number of local blockbusters are released together and the box office numbers are the biggest within a year, kinda like Chinese New Year in China.
