A lot of fun, with Tom Cruise's best performance in quite some time (especially after watching him slog his way through The Mummy). B+

The beginning of the movie is a bit wonky with the editing but once the story gets going it gets good. B+

It's an effective critique of a particularly negative period in 20th century politics, with energetic direction that also makes it a great vehicle for Cruise to do some of his best scene-chewing in a while.

This was fun. I liked cruise as a bad guy in this movie his character has comic touch which makes him more likeable.

 

AM stayed true to its genre but i felt the movie could have been a tad longer. Say 5-10mins. 

 

They could have selected some other guy to portray Pablo Escobar.

Apart from getting a void kinda feeling after climax id totally recommend this movie. Go For it. Liman excels again.

American Made tells a very generic story well. Cruise's charisma elevates past most of these Scorese ripoffs, and Liman's direction has a pretty good hand on what makes these enjoyable. The editing is top-notch, and the cast is full of character actors who make the most of their limited screentime. American Made is a fun time at the theaters, but outside of a few scenes, is totally forgettable with the exception of Tom Cruise's enjoyable performance. A wholly decent effort. B-
