That would be kinda poor legs given the highly beneficial calendar it has...

I do hope for 500+.

imo my whole thing with Voltron is it's REALLY long and I feel that I can easily put two large family films at Christmas and be fine with Voltron as competition

I'm sure you'll do big, but yeah, I'm not scared for Roger or Thymes rn

I agree. Though I do believe it will not out-gross Rise of Lotor, I still think it'll do well over $500 million.

Still, it'll be interesting to see which third film installment out-grosses the other.

btw, the female-oriented blockbuster (which will HOPEFULLY be dropping tonight) is internally projected at 125-150M and I'd honestly be shocked if it does less than that unless everyone hates it, so add that to your projections, Yo Mama

(as a hint, it's a sequel to a long-dormant real life franchise)

Spoiler

I'm sure they'll be fine but Roger Rabbit is going to have the more obvious disadvantage of the two.

Uh shit. Noooooot sure about THAT :P

I mean, Jaws 1 is fondly remember, shark craze is big and if it offers the same fun and escapism as Avengers/JW, I can honestly see it break out far more than expected.

To be honest I'd be happy with The Meg numbers.

Anyway, starting in on the last act of Earthsong Volume I. It's about 13.5K words so far.

The write-up is very dialogue-heavy. Not sure how people will respond to that.

I mean I'm the king of wasting space with dialogue boxes so as long as it's easy to decipher I won't mind.

I don't do the boxes, haha. More of a novelistic approach to dialogue writing woven into the prose.
