So many memories,  James you are a Legend and one of the Greatest Actors Ever.   This film will have to be dedicated to him.   His last three movies were "Rise of Skywalker", "The Lion King" and "Coming 2 America".    Sad news today.   I said from the beginning doing a story on "Mufusa" was smart because of how beloved James is.

Not gonna lie, this might be a movie which gets absolutely saved by the Christmas legs. Mufasa w/o holidays probably does less than one half of Mufasa with holidays.

Depending on how well it does in real life, we can see if they picked the clutch date or if it does well either way

The good news for Mufasa is it is a prequel to The Lion King.

The Bad news for Mufasa it is is a prequel to The Lion King.

Yes, the Lion King being so well beloved...at leas the original ...is in it's favor, but then it really has to deleiver the goods..it can's dissapoint.

I can see this going either way.

What is going to be intersting is how much damage the Lion and the Hedgehog do to each other.

You don't often see this: 2 big films aimed at exactly the same demo/audience duking it out on the same opening day.

Zimmer score for the action remake was pretty much a copy and paste from the animated movie. Glade they are going with somebody new and fresh.
