Pypa94
NWH NUMBERS update: Well NO updates tbh, on sfp.org.pl - website where numbers of adm are published as we expected we don't have NWH numbers, BOM or the-numbers.com don't have gross too. If UIP don't publish numbers, we will be screwed Hope for info about 1M adm - that should be next info from them (or if it holds well on 2nd WKD) 1

In TV we had only one then two channels with propaganda from the government and that's it. That is why during that time in some years adm. of the year was like over 7 times bigger than population! 4) modern era after 1989 year - 1989 year was a year of political changes, first democratic elections and change from socialism to capitalism, in that year cinemas were more empty because of strikes etc. and cinemas started to became private rather than government's, TV was free from propaganda and some new channels were added. That's why people started to spend time in homes more often. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ALL TIME CHARTS The most successful films of all time in gross (lc) since 1989 No. PLN (lc) Movie 1 105,261,308 Clergy (Kler) 2 105,089,063 Ogniem i mieczem 3 88,329,136 Avatar 4 82,839,843 Pan Tadeusz 5 69,045,592 Quo Vadis 6 65,204,800 Listy do M. 3 7 62,767,218 Star Wars: The Force Awakens 8 58,522,569 Pitbull: Niebezpieczne kobiety 9 54,638,129 Shrek Forever 10 54,004,780 Listy do M. 2 The most successful films of all time in gross ($) since 1989 [est.] No. USD ($) Movie 1 $28,274,637 Clergy (Kler) 2 $26,366,071 Ogniem i mieczem 3 $26,135,805 Avatar 4 $20,879,608 Pan Tadeusz 5 $18,484,522 Lejdis 6 $18,014,551 Shrek the Third 7 $17,725,599 Listy do M. 3 8 $17,262,308 Shrek Forever 9 $16,863,883 Quo Vadis 10 $16,685,439 Star Wars: The Force Awakens The most successful films since in admission since 1989 No. Admission Movie 1 7,154,579 Ogniem i mieczem 2 6,168,344 Pan Tadeusz 3 5,198,730 Clergy (Kler) 4 4,302,445 Quo Vadis 5 3,766,267 Avatar 6 3,650,536 Titanic 7 3,462,021 The Passion of the Christ 8 3,395,226 Shrek 2 9 3,352,805 Shrek the Third 10 3,009,971 Listy do M. 3 The best starts ever in admission since 1989 No. Admission Movie 1 935,357 Clergy (Kler) 2 834,479 Fifty Shades of Grey 3 793,731 Shrek the Third 4 789,568 Star Wars: The Force Awakens 5 767,519 Pitbull: Niebezpieczne kobiety 6 736,812 Listy do M. 3 7 711,906 Botoks 8 693,563 The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies 9 658,746 Polityka 10 628,625 Kobiety mafii The 2nd weekend ever in admission since 2002 No. Admission Movie 1 772,316 Clergy (Kler) 2 524,455 Planeta Singli 3 495,990 Shrek the Third 4 493,190 Listy do M. 3 5 454,488 Pitbull: Niebezpieczne kobiety 6 445,873 Miszmasz, czyli Kogel-Mogel 3 7 434,401 Listy do M. 2 8 433,138 Shrek 2 9 422,088 Star Wars: The Force Awakens 10 413,034 The Passion of the Christ The 3rd weekend ever in admission since 2002 No. Admission Movie 1 448,899 Clergy (Kler) 2 387,917 Frozen II 3 352,615 The Passion of the Christ 4 274,252 Lejdis 5 266,681 Listy do M. 2 6 266,619 The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring 7 260,118 Avatar 8 258,637 Shrek Fovever 9 257,893 Pitbull: Niebezpieczne kobiety 10 253,963 Listy do M. 3 The 4th weekend ever in admission since 2002 No. Admission Movie 1 294,791 Clergy (Kler) 2 287,903 The Passion of the Christ 3 238,009 Listy do M. 2 4 220,521 Avatar 5 220,134 Listy do M. 6 192,340 Lejdis 7 191,304 Frozen II 8 170,967 The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring 9 160,092 Listy do M. 3 10 160,058 Katyń The 5th weekend ever in admission since 2002 No. Admission Movie 1 199,384 The Passion of the Christ 2 197,437 Clergy (Kler) 3 189,822 Listy do M. 4 185,901 Avatar 5 181,690 Listy do M. 3 6 157,596 Listy do M. 2 7 135,225 Pitbull: Niebezpieczne kobiety 8 129,768 Katyń 9 120,872 Lejdis 10 117,949 Bogowie Because of lack of news about NWH I updated first post with all-time charts. Pypa94
FINALLY SOME UPDATES! UIP informed about crossing over 1M admission since premier in less than 2 weeks (probably crossed on 29.12, 13 day) This weekend should be a lot bigger than last weekend. IW numbers (1 225 000) after this WKD probable Maybe 1,5M after first week of January. NTTD had 1M in similar number of days. Cume is over 1,61M. NTTD had twice bigger 2nd WKD than NWH but NWH has way more higher weekdays, @StarLord on his website (link: http://boxoffice-bozg.pl/bozonarodzeniowe-pustki-jak-na-wielkanoc-oficjalnym-numerem-jeden-matrix-zmartwychwstania-podsumowanie-weekendu-w-polskich-kinach/) suggested c.a. 110k 2nd WKD and 200k Mon-Wed while NTTD 267k 2nd WKD and Mon-Th 145,5k. StarLord
I think that NWH will eventually cross 1,5M admissions (1,52-1,53M) but won't reach NTTD final number (approx. 1,65M). And I also think that stupid UIP will provide no further updates regarding NWH, unfortunately..

Pypa94
2022 forecast in adm. January over 2M Koniec świata czyli Kogel Mogel 4 (local) [7.01] - tbh I don't know if 2M is possible considering really bad WOM of 3rd part but with NWH numbers we can see anything is possible (although personally hope not crossing 2M) over 1,5M Sing 2 [21.01] - 1st part was over 1,6M over 1M 8 rzeczy, których nie wiecie o facetach (local) [28.01] - sequel of romantic comedy from 2016 (1,1M; average WOM) with good/average WOM possible 1M and more over 500K Scream [14.01] - 3rd part had over 300k and horror movies are quite popular, good WOM should help Morbius [28.01] - Jared Leto is quite popular here and SH/CBM movies gaining year after year so maybe even closer to 1M, who knows others: The King's Man [5.01] - idk because 1) first 2 parts didn't crossed 250k each but 2) now movie is most anticipated movie on filmweb.pl for January and February - let's just see what will happen February over 2M over 1,5M over 1M Miłość, seks & pandemia (local) [4.02] - another movie of the most busy director in Poland - Patryk Vega, who delivers 2-3 movies a year - this one is about covid times so has potencial, pros: topic and core fans; cons: quality of previous movies was mediocre at most over 500K Moonfall [4.02] - catastrophic movie and Emmerich on board: should have no problem to cross this Death on the Nile [11.02] - Murder on the Orient Express was close to 500K, if WOM is better, this should beat it Miłość jest blisko (local) [11.02] - another romantic comedy, depends on WOM and performance of 8 rzeczy, których nie wiecie o facetach Dog [18.02] - animals as main/co-main characters are quite popular and that's all what I can say 😜 others: Uncharted [11.02] - games adaptations are not popular at all, but WOM and actors could help, either bomb or explode, will see March over 2M over 1,5M over 1M The Batman [4.03] - first SH of the year and good score hope, Joker with awesome WOM claimed the crown of SH movies over 500K Szczęścia chodzą parami (local) [11.03] - same story like Miłość jest blisko and 8 rzeczy, których nie wiecie o facetach Inni ludzie (local) [18.03] - very good rated on movie festival in September, WOM will be leverage others: The Lost City [25.03] - potential of movie is really good, cast and topic but could easily bomb here too TBC Spoiler April over 2M over 1,5M over 1M Sonic the Hedgehog 2 The Bad Guys over 500K Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore others: Operation Fortune: Ruse de guerre; The Northman May over 2M over 1,5M over 1M Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness over 500K Top Gun: Maverick others: June over 2M over 1,5M over 1M Lightyear over 500K Jurassic World: Dominion others: July over 2M over 1,5M Minions: The Rise of Gru over 1M Thor: Love and Thunder over 500K Black Adam others: August over 2M over 1,5M over 1M over 500K others: After Ever Happy September over 2M over 1,5M Puss in Boots: The Last Wish over 1M Mission: Impossible 7 over 500K others: October over 2M over 1,5M over 1M over 500K Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse - Part One Halloween Ends others: November over 2M over 1,5M Strange World over 1M Black Panther: Wakanda Forever over 500K The Flash Creed III others: December over 2M Avatar 2 over 1,5M over 1M Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom over 500K others: 4
StarLord
Well, it looks like they might close down the cinemas soon again... Nothing's confirmed yet but there is something going on from what I've heard. Anyway, here's my estimate for No Way Home after the third WE: 1,265M admissions. 1st WE: 450k, after 1st week: 670k 2nd WE: 115k, after 2nd week: 1,1M 3rd WE: 165k; after 3rd weekend: 1,265M However, we only know the 1st WE number and that the movie reached 1M on the 2nd Wednesday (13th day of release)... Prediction for the 4th weekend: There are two major movies opening this weekend (Kogel Mogel 4 and Sing 2) but on the other hand it's a long weekend with a holiday on Thursday which should help all movies to avoid very big drops. So if my 3rd weekend's estimate is accurate, No Way Home might have close to 100k this coming weekend and perhaps close to 1,45M after the fourth WE. But again, these are only rough estimates... It's also 2nd biggest of 2021 behind NTTD let's hope for 1,5M maybe that would push UIP to give us info about crossing this point

Pypa94
As we mentioned before UIP distribiuted movies don't get accured numbers because UIP in 2019 stopped reporting them to boxoffice.pl - company collecting this numbers. That's why sfp.org.pl, which public WE numbers, doesn't have them in their charts and only when UIP claim that movie is a success, they show numbers on their FB page or website. As Poland is not a large market in case of gross, normally it's not in top 10 international for particular movie, so gross is unknown for BOM and the-numbers.com too. StarLord
Currently, I am preparing an article with my estimates for 2021 UIP movies, so stay tuned. BTW, a couple of days ago, in an article in Gazeta Wyborcza, it's been revealed that the UIP movies sold 6,53M tickets in 2021: Quote In 2021, Polish cinemas had 21.8 million viewers, not counting those on UIP films. The President of UIP, Urszula Malska, informed me in a text message that their films had 6.53 million viewers in 2021, which together gives 28.33 million viewers. This is better than in the lockdown year 2020 (17 million, also not counting UIP films), but much worse than in the pre-pandemic year 2019 (61 million). https://wyborcza.pl/7,101707,27972390,na-co-chodzilismy-do-kina-w-2021-jeden-film-zdeklasowal-reszte.html Edited January 9, 2022 by StarLord 2

It's in Polish. http://boxoffice-bozg.pl/zaginione-filmy-polskiego-box-officeu-w-2021-roku/ However, I've translated the charts into English. 1. Data regarding gross from The Numbers and/or Box Office Mojo. As you can see, there is no much data available, especially for Sony movies... 2. Estimated opening and totals (admissions). It's basend on available gross data from the charts above, my knowledge of box office / gut feeling and historical data (e.g. comparison to the box office of previous movies in a franchise, etc.): 3. How the best-selling movies of 2021 charts might have looked like if UIP published their numbers as other distributers do...
