UIP informed that finally NWH crossed 1,5M adm!

That happened on 28th day of release (about 6 days sooner than NTTD)

 

NWH vs NTTD

AFTER 4 weeks: c.a. 1,5M vs 1 432 869

 

NTTD late legs where pretty good it added after 4 weeks more than 200k (full run: 1 640 356) NWH need about 140k to beat NTTD but unfortunately probably we will never know if NWH crossed NTTD or not (or UIP suprise us - unlikely) - because next target which would be likely to report 2M is far far out of reach. 

 

Anyway great run for NWH: as expected 3rd place among SH/CBM, tight battle of crown of 2021 (maybe bit unexpected due to new Bond) and overall good WOM.

Let's say it: NWH deserves good numbers even here :) 

 

So now NWH multiple is:

OW 450k cume now: 1,5M x3,33 (on par with Captain Marvel, FFH, EG) 

Final I hope between  x3,70-3,75 (1,665-1,688M) BUT at least x3,65 to beat NTTD :D 

 

Gross: Final between $8-8,2M (ATP $4,84-4,97) is doable. (NTTD ATP $5,18 - about $8,5M)

BUT personally I love first 2 parts - classic movies really fun as many movies in dark ages of PRL, and there is 3rd - modern and adjusted to our times and it is PIECE OF SH*T like huuge one. That was a waste of time to watch it, and for sure I won't spend my money to watch 4th part (maybe later when it will be on demand for free or so) and reading reviews I won't make a mistake avoiding it. That's why I hope it won't cross 1M (sure it cross) 😜

I think we might get one more update from UIP - when NWH overtakes NTTD and becomes the no. 1 movie of 2021. So, fingers crossed... ;)

Deadline Hollywood has just reported $2,4M for Sing 2 from the opening in Poland. This number is definitely including previews which started on the Christmas weekend and also took place on the following weekends. This gross means potentially over 500k admissions, and I can already see UIP sharing tomorrow the news about "the best pandemic opening". In addition to not sharing their numbers with boxoffice.pl since November 2019, they also hadn't been excluding previews from the actual weekend admissions for some time back then, even though other distributers did it.

Still huge success but I hope that next big success won't be UIP and we can follow numbers properly 😜

Krzysztof Spór is reporting that 31k for C'mon C'mon is the overall number after the first weekend but half of it is coming from previews... so around 15-16k on opening weekend. ;)

Scream 5 as @StarLord mentioned had bigger drop but still good :)
