juni78ukr
Can Noah reach 35M? This is possible, but far from certain. Both G.I.Joe 2 and Wrath of TItans failed to reach 2 multiplyer. However Hoah has much stronger weekend multiplyer and stronger daily grosses so far.

Talon
Why such a success here? Is religion a big factor? In a sense, as religion is a big trend here (but it goes without deep understanding or feeling on the matter, as all the additions and changes that made Noah controversial in US are barely noted here) + known story that is fail safe + Aronofsky that is non "mindless Hollywood popcorn movie" director. Fullbuster
That's what I thought :)Maybe this success will encourage Hollywood to create more biblical movies.

Fullbuster
Oh and by the way : this year Russia should become the third biggest european market for movies, passing Germany.Quite good.
Fullbuster
However TASM2 should easily beat it.TASM grossed 22m there,TASM2 will pass 30m,possibly beating Thor 2.I see an interesting potential for The Guardians of the Galaxy.

Talon
The movie really deserves it,clearly better than Thor 2 and IM3. People prise it for action while saying that characters are dull. I think it have a good shot at 18-20 as hand-to-hand semi realistic and "old school" action movies are popular here.
Bishop54
How do you guys expect Godzilla to perform? At or above Pacific Rim numbers?
Talon
How do you guys expect Godzilla to perform? At or above Pacific Rim numbers? Hard to tell at this point but if it will be marketed as a disaster movie with monsters I see great potential.
