juni78ukr
Current worst case scenario is 87-88% week-to-week drop for IM3. Still not far from 2.25m kinometro prediction.
Fullbuster
with 2.25m it wouldn't pass BD2 before monday, and TA before next friday.
POLYLOVE
But there is still a chance for IM3 to surpass TA, right?
POLYLOVE
$50M seems to be difficult.

juni78ukr
It was really stupid from Nikki to say about 4x gross. ST in 2009 had 13.39 mln RUB opening day in 419 theaters with 81.5k admissions ST2 in 2013 so far grossed 28.3 mln RUB in 807 theaters with 100.8k admissions

Fullbuster
yep,STiD doesn't interest a lot apparently.Gatsby is impressive given it's not a franchise.
Fullbuster
IM3 number is terrible by the way,it probably lost a lot of screens.
juni78ukr
Week-to-week 88.5% drop for IM3. Will make around 2-2.1m this weekend. 77-78% weekend drop. Around 42.5 mln by Monday. The Avengers held much better after May holidays but with much less competition. The Battle for the first Star Trek 912k 822 theaters out of 896 reported Gatsby 894k 718 theaters out of 762 reported. Fullbuster
I think Gatsby will hold better next week and will pass Star Trek.FF6 will take Imax and screens,The Hangover could be hurtful too.
Fullbuster
by the way I expect 35m for FF6 and 23m for The Hangover 3.And 30m for Epic.
juni78ukr
Good news: Paramount reported 35 mln RUB or 1.11 mln USD opening day for Star Trek. Projected weekend gross is around 175-180 mln RUB. 5.5-5.7 mln. Wlll pass entire first film gross (135 mln RUB) in 3 or 4 days. But it will be well below generous kinometro prediction. Probably around 12-12.5m total. Edited May 17, 2013 by juni78ukr
Fullbuster
kinometro was clearly overoptimistic.
