iceroll
See, Russia knows that their own movies are shit and doesn't try to screw over Hollywood movies by giving them stupid protections. China should take note.

juni78ukr
According to my friends Tengo ganas de ti started really strong. Definitely will become the highest grossing spanish movie in Russia. And a big success for its independent distributor too.
Fullbuster
Actually everyone is talking now about creating russian movie quota for theaters.Oh come on, not that...... They need to open more theaters, that's all, just need more place.Young Russians don't care about Russian movies, quotas won't help to attract them. This is the movie : BTW I would have liked more news about TASM in Russia.

Fullbuster
The performance of the final Twilight will be interesting in November, the franchise had a big growth there, the Twilight from 2011 reached $36m (as much as the last Harry Potter), maybe the next Twilight will reach $40m? Rudolf
Actually America had the most protectiv movie system during the silent movie aera. They simply did not allow any European movies into their market. And when Hollywood was fully developed they simply did not synchronyse any foreign language movies. lab276
Rapid growth! In next 10 years! Probably not that much in admissions though.
Fullbuster
Probably not that much in admissions though.Given the demographic trends in Russia yes, admissions could rise to 250-300m, not much more..But that would be enough to be the biggest European market for movies by far, and a priority for Hollywood.
