Those 3,7mil admissions are really good but they do pale a bit compared to Austria's 590k - while you can't compare the markets with a straight 1:10, even the usual 1:9 would put Maverick at >5,3mil in Germany if it was as popular there as it is here. If 3,7mil for Germany are "amazing", I don't know what word you would apply to Austria's number As for Minions2 - Germany's now >4mil are a very good result, but in Austria, it's also still in release and is now very very close to 530k. Btw, "Guglhupfgeschwader", very successful in Germany as the one with most admissions in the franchise, is more than doubling Germany's result in Austria with now very close to 300k admissions. 2

Ticket to Paradise finally crossed 1mil, strong legs! Pretty similar results in Austria (Ticket is already at 170k here). In Austria, results were a bit different - Halloween Ends much stronger, while Rheingold has gotten only a very limited release (sensibly I think, the biopic wouldn't generate much interest here). Next weekend: No big openers, among them Prey for the Devil which gets a late halloween start for whatever reason, and a release for the very young - Hui Buh und das Schlossgespenst. With school holidays and cool weather in some parts of Germany, there should be some good weekdays, especially for family releases. 3
