So according to Blickpunkt Film FB3 did around the same yesterday as last Thursday (102k to 100k LW I think). Hopefully that means it'll do better than feared.

Well, multiplers seem to be very different on sunny Easter weekend as Insidekino still predicts just 360k WE...

A 20% drop - that's kinda bad - should still hit 3m - but might not get that much more - thought it might stay flat (or at least almost flat) around 420-440k.

It would be around 400k behind Grindelwald which hat 380k on its third weekend but it had the holidays a little while later, which means week 5, 6 and 7 were very similar, this doesn't have that advantage. 

Despite that I think it has a chance at a #3 finish at the end of the year:

JW dropped from 4.14 to 2.40m (probably will bounce back to 3m but I am not certain it well get more).

The last Thor did 1.48m (doubling that will be hard).

And Doctor Strange did 1.47m (I think doubling this might be a bit easier). 

Only two movies that I'd give a very solid chance to place above FB3 are Avatar and Gru. Despicable me did 4.65m and Minions before that 6.95m (and it was only #4 that year behind TFA, Fack Ju Göhte 2 and Spectre - 2015 was a crazy year - also happens to be the first year where I went to the cinema multiple times xD  also Inside Out with 3.5m ended the year at #9) - I don't think Gru will get above 4m.

Yes - at least I think it was the first year.

I didn't really go to the cinema at all, considering I lived 20 minutes or so away from the next one (by car), so none of my friends did (and public transportation is way worse).

Before that I had only watched Unsere Erde (Earth), Up, Prince of Persia, Pirates otC 4, Star Trek Into Darkness in cinema.

3m are still possible, but it seems like it might become a stretch.

In Northern Germany it was really good yesterday - today it's a bit cloudy.

 

But doesn't seem to help that it wasn't as good in southern and eastern Germany.

 

Really hope we aren't seeing a Wizarding movie end below 3m.
