It's gonna disappoint you know as you once said?  ;)

We don't know if it will disappoint, I'm just cautious by saying it will be under TA1 but we have no way to be sure of that!

And even if it does less than $50m it won't be disappointing because a movie doing $50m in Brazil can't be a disappointement ;) Do you know how many movies grossed more than $50m in Brazil? Only a few ones, it's something very rare.

The OW will be impressive at least, I have no doubt about that ;)

BTW, Yoshi (née Fullbuster) will be glad to know that the Dollar is getting cheaper this month in front of Real, so Avengers might not suffer as much as anticipated.

Yes, it's a bit positive, however the exchange rate will still be far from where it was in 2012 so it's still a problem.

Yes, and unfortunately Brazil's economy isn't showing signs of fast recovery.

Yeah I know : Brazil is expected to have a negative growth this year and a few years of slow growth after that, this is the end of an era of fast growth, even if an average of 4% per year was not that huge in the first place (most of today's developed countries had a faster GDP growth when they were at the same level of economic development).

The U.S. dollar is up 41 percent against the Brazilian real, 34 percent against the Colombian peso and 15 percent against the Mexican peso since June 30.

It's really a disadvantage compared to the other Latin American countries :/ And it's the biggest regional market for The Avengers so it's quite a shame.

Mexico will probably beat Brazil this time. But let's not lose hope :P

This weekend already? I expected it to drop harder so I didn't expect it to pass $30m that soon. With that $35m would definitely be within reach :)
