Fullbuster
CAP2 should exceed CAP1's $20M nicely, $25M to $30M possible, yes?Yes.Closer to 25m I think given the competition from TASM2 on May1st

Wally
Fine for Divergent it opened in only 381 screens. I thought it would do worse. Of course it will have almost no legs, but it's better than I expected.

I thought it would do worse too but I think the multiples will be soft equal Hunger Games, something like x3.2 it can finish with 6.7M, healthy start for the franchise. Fullbuster
I didn't notice before but TASM grossed 6.7m OW and ended at 30m,impressive legs! That means a bigger TASM2's OW could not necessarily mean its total will be bigger. However given the performance from Cap2 I'm confident the OW will be pretty impressive thanks to a broader audience : much more kids, teens, families and girls/women..and in a young country like Brazil it's quite a difference. alisson23
Franchise? Are you sure it will have a sequel? Yes, Lionsgate is already having profit, the international box office is Indiferent FOr It Because Lionsgate Don'T Receive NothinG From International BO. Divergent Should Finish With 270M+ WW, Fine The Same Way. Sequel Should Do 400M At Least With The Increase Of BooK Sales... YeaH We Gonna See A Sequel, Lionsgate Won'T Loose The Opportunity $$.
