I think this isn't accurate. I don't live in São Paulo, but I doubt it reaches that price.

Prices Fuel Outrage in Brazil, Home of the $30 Cheese Pizza

SÃO PAULO, Brazil — Shoppers here with a notion of what items cost abroad need to brace themselves when buying a Samsung Galaxy S4 phone: the same model that costs $615 in the United States is nearly double that in Brazil. An even bigger shock awaits parents needing a crib: the cheapest one at Tok & Stok costs over $440, more than six times the price of a similarly made item at Ikea in the United States.

For Brazilians seething with resentment over wasteful spending by the country’s political elite, the high prices they must pay for just about everything — a large cheese pizza can cost almost $30 — only fuel their ire.

And with the World Cup it's even worse :

BRASILIA: As if worrying about unfinished stadiums and overcrowded airports wasn’t enough, the upcoming football World Cup will give Brazilian policymakers another headache: an inflation spike.

So Captain America TWS would have reached $17m already? It will easily wipe the floor with Cap1 then :P

Noah officially passed Rio 2!

Um, CA2 average ticket price is $6.76.

I watched CA2 in IMAX , it cost me less than $10(once 61 yuan, once 55 yuan) in China.

I heard prices were pretty high in China, that's weird. Maybe it's only in the big cities though..

Yeah, prices are high in first-class cities like beijing or shanghai.

IMAX ticket sometimes costs $30 there...

$30, it's beyond belief, I just can't believe people are willing to pay that, I mean salaries in Beijing are not exactly at the same level than in New York for example...

It reminds me about an article I recently read...The average price of a house in San Francisco is now reaching $1 million, it's out of this world.

Well, as I said, I wouldn't know for sure because I don't live in São Paulo and a cheese pizza around here costs, like, $10.

$30 must be all-you-can-eat, Here in my state a pizza costs about $ 9, I do not think is very different there.

And yes, electronics here are very expensive

There are riots in Brazil, the World Cup could be bad in Brazil, more and more investors pull back their investments because they're not confident the country can organize this properly.

Well, no one thought India could organize the commonwealth games, and even a day prior to the opening ceremony that seemed to be the case. But the games went off fine - the aftermath is still not complete.

India is not a country with a high crime rate like Brazil, it's not the same situation, not the same culture, and the economic growth is very slow for such a country since 2012, not helped by a high inflation rate so the standards of living stale.

Remove the high crime rate (I think), and the rest applies perfectly to India as well. High inflation, slow growth since 2011, standards of living slipping.
