So The Batman's OD was a great 35.3M lc ($1.7M). 625-650M if it behaves like Joker, 550-575M if it follows BvS or LoJ. Said that, there's little competition until Morbius (31 March)...

NWH is going to end so close to 1.6B. Wouldn't surprise me if it's in the Top 10 again next week.

TOP MOVIES 2022 (lc)

01     245,700,000  The Batman

02     108,800,000  Uncharted

03       75,500,000  Nightmare Alley

04       70,300,000  Scream (2022)

05       56,600,000  Moonfall

I'd say $600M is looking good. Admissions-wise it would end up around The Dark Knight Rises; plenty of room to grow in a sequel.

LOL my childhood memories > actual movie names.

The flying Aquaman always cracks me up.

Few shows for the new releases this week: Belfast, Blacklight and Sword Art Online Progressive, with local comedy Cuarentones receiving most screens. Comfy at the top for The Batman. And most of the shows for Spidey are gone.

Nearly $100M have been sold from BTS Permission to Dance Live on Stage. Easily the largest figure -both in presales and final figures- for non-studio titles (aka alternative content) and one of the largest PS ever for any title. ATP skyrocketed to an all-time high of $320 lc ($15 USD); 5x from national average in 2021.

No.1 for the weekend. Should've been around $115M-$120M and nearly 400K admissions. Only second best WW behind DOM and best result in admissions nearly doubling those of DOM.

The Batman should pass The Dark Knight Rises today in lc and Shazam in admissions. It is well heading towards $600M+/9M admits and 2nd/3rd best result for Warner in lc and 7th/8th in admissions.

Morbius releasing on March 30th to hold a 5-Day opening frame. Sonic 2 sticking to a 4-Day opening after relasing on April 7th. Both have tickets on sale now.

I guess 5-Day will be more of a rule for big openers except for those coming from Disney -although they should seek to mantain Wed night previews- which has usually opossed to large openings unless there's a holiday. Multiverse of Madness should release on time for the May 5th holiday; don't think they'll move up a week given the April 30th and May 1st holidays are Sat and Sun so there's not much more to get from those.

CANACINE is all over the place, not including BTS and showing weekly rather than weekend figures.

Not sure if it's an error, but The Batman total = 428.8M lc.  If it holds, then it passed Wonder Woman and The Dark Night Rises in lc (but not in audience) and it's now the #6 DCU movie in gross.

Rank Top 50 Title Release Gross (lc) Audience
1 7 Joker 04/10/2019 $858,082,328 15,079,853
2 19 Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice 24/03/2016 $630,814,940 13,261,158
3 25 Aquaman 13/12/2018 $610,109,497 11,549,680
4 36 Suicide Squad 05/08/2016 $514,745,207 9,938,506
5 45 Justice League 17/11/2017 $472,799,261 9,312,942
6   The Batman 02/03/2022 $428,000,000 5,800,000
