It's on high 30s and I expected low 30s since it took a big dive on screens. Passes Incredibles 2, Toy Story 3 and Furious 7. Moves ahead of Age of Ultron on Tuesday and then should finish about $10M lc shy of first Avengers. 1
Purple Minion
Addams Family OW is $2.75M while Hustlers opened to $750K. Maleficent 2 total is now $15.1M, about 290M lc. Gemini Man up to $6.1M

Purple Minion
@Bart Allen @Sunny Max 50/50 chance of Joker reaching Avengers if it holds well this weekend against Terminator. A similar drop as previous weekend would place it in the 810M lc vicinity. Edited November 1, 2019 by Purple Minion

Purple Minion
2019 is proving to be an amazingly unexpected year. It was always going to be big, but not this huge: 4 movies in the all time Top 6!
Purple Minion
Oh boy. Low, low $2.6M OW for Terminator, not even 50M lc. Joker is up to $41.7M, around 812.5M lc give or take. And Maleficent 2 reached $19.2M, weekend not that far from Arnie. Edited November 3, 2019 by Purple Minion 1

Purple Minion
Weekend box office - Terminator wins by a whisker! 50.1M lc vs Maleficent 2's 49.4M lc. He won't be back. And in the all-time chart, Joker should jump over Avengers by Sunday. carlsalf
Joker is simply incredible. It's really something that a Comic book Movie (hell any blockbuster for that matter) mantains this level of income. I still see it can get to 845M-850M. So... outstanding indeed. And how are you seeing Dr. Sleep? Surely I have heard people talking about the movie. Will it get to 35-45M opening?

I know there's Endgame but that was more a pre-release phenomenon (I've heard figures near of $200M lc/$11M USD on presales which is mind blowing) but Joker has just kept us there every week after release aware of what is going to pull next. Carlangonz
Frozen 2 tickets should go on sale soon. As surprising as it seems the only major animation studios that haven't had a $400M+ grosser are Warner Animation and... Walt Disney Animation Studios. WDAS' highest grosser is last year's Ralph Breaks the Internet which went to gross a bit over $350M. Among animation studios with $400M+ titles rules Pixar with 7 titles, Illumination and Blue Sky tied with 4 each and also tied with 2 movies each are DreamWorks and Sony Animation.
