A third consecutive sub-$100M opening for MCU this year is really looking possible. It didn't get the typical pre-launch weekend boost in sales. Because SC opened so low, I was afraid to think above Us$4M.
Carlangonz
Sticking to $4M-$5M. We'll see how walk-ups look on Thursday.
Purple Minion
Cinépolis is showing from 2 to 5 previews for Eternals tomorrow night in lots of cinemas across the country. Anything below 100M lc OW would be a disappointment.
Carlangonz
Nice walk-ups for first preview shows. It'll rely on them during the weekend so hard to say anything based on ps. Let's see how it goes but anything over $80M is a win
Carlangonz
Around $350K from 7:00 PM previews for Eternals. They'll be rolled into Thu gross. PS for OD seem to be lower than BW's so walk-ups are all there is.

charlie Jatinder
$950K THU. Seems strong to me. $6M weekend or I am getting ahead of myself.

Both previews and opening came on par to what I saw. Similar to BW but with stronger walk-ups and no piracy/Disney+ so $100M+ 4-Day + Previews bodes well. 2
Purple Minion
From Deadline: Key new markets for Eternals on Thursday included Mexico which opened to a No. 1 $1.3M (including previews). This was good for a 69% share and came in 110% over Shang-Chi, while 20% below Black Widow.
