Purple Minion
From Deadline: In Mexico, San Andreas is the highest-grossing disaster film of all time, and this weekend has become the biggest WB release ever in the market — overtaking Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows – Part 2. The local total is $28.1M. Inside Out: Opened strong in Latin America, led by Mexico where it took an estimated $8.8M. In an increasing trend, Mexico is the leading international territory thus far. In milestones there, Inside Out opened at No. 1, nudging aside the dinosaurs, and had the highest original IP animated opening of all time.
Purple Minion
From Boxoffice.xom: JW cum US$29.4M. So that means a US$6.8M weekend. Minions is the only obstacle for the dinos to reach 40. Scabab: We will now DBZ numbers tomorrow. Edited June 22, 2015 by PaloMinion
scabab
On Deadline it says this "Fox International Productions’ Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F, already a massive local hit in Japan at $30.9M, blasted off in Latin America to a fantastic $7M. It opened No. 1 in Peru and Chile and grossed $3.5M in Mexico on 713 screens." Is $3.5 million good? That's more than the first one.
Hernan Gonzalez
Top 4 Weekend: 1- Inside Out, $8.6m, new. 2- Jurassic World, $6.9m. Cume: $28.9m 3- Dragon Ball, $3.4m, new. I think this is not bad Scabab 4- San Andreas, $1m. Cume: $28.5m Very good OW for Inside Out. The Minions are coming on the 9th so the Pixar movie and Jurassic World still have next weekend without competition. Talking about JW, it passed San Andreas and it is already the number 3 movie for the year. Ricky Martin and Thalia gave their voices to the villains on The Minions movie and a huge success is expected all over Latin America. 2015 – Movies over 2m adm Admissions Gross Ticket Price Mex$ OD ER 1 The Avengers: Age of Ultron 15731247 $51.4 m $3.27 783.92 Apr, 30th 0.06557 2 Fast & Furious 7 15530417 $51.2 m $3.30 779.15 Apr, 2nd 0.06573 3 Jurassic World 8653541 $28.9 m $3.34 449.03 Jun, 11th 0.06446 4 San Andreas 8873396 $28.5 m $3.21 436.73 May, 29th 0.06525 5 SpongeBob 2 5461794 $16.4 m $3.00 239.77 Jan, 29th 0.06824 6 Fifty Shades of Grey 4611167 $15.2 m $3.30 228.09 Feb, 12th 0.06662 7 Cinderella 5076844 $15.0 m $2.96 232.14 Mar, 13th 0.06474 8 Home 4097337 $11.8 m $2.88 177.11 Mar, 27th 0.06654 9 Taken 3 3062660 $10.1 m $3.30 148.09 Jan, 29th 0.06824 10 Little Boy 3312341 $9.7 m $2.91 146.85 May, 15th 0.06573 11 Insurgent 2725176 $9.2 m $3.37 139.63 Mar, 20th 0.06575 12 Inside Out 2603501 $8.6 m $3.31 131.41 Jun, 19th 0.06552 13 American Sniper 2549316 $8.4 m $3.30 125.51 Feb, 20st 0.06702 14 Focus 2575267 $8.2 m $3.18 123.45 Mar, 6th 0.06625 15 A La Mala (*) 2670992 $8.1 m $3.02 120.56 Feb, 27th 0.06695 16 Mad max: Fury Road 2401542 $7.9 m $3.29 120.06 May, 15th 0.06573 (*) Local Movie

Great list by the way, thank you So TA2 passed FF7 in the end Fantastic for IO, they really love Pixar Thanks fullbuster Brazilian sites take a little bit longer to update the numbers. So maybe tomorrow or on Wednesday I will post the same chart. AOU's legs in Mexico was horrible. It barely doubled its OW. AoU is still in the top 10 but doing peanuts. It is almost done in Mexico. But it is the second best movie in mexican history in admissions, behind the first Avengers. So, I think its work is done in this market, even though you are right about its legs. scabab
That is good for DBZ. It'll be very frontloaded though, it probably won't get to $6 million.
Purple Minion
Four movies over US$1M weekend is quite an accomplishment. Dragon Ball did well against very strong competition. JW benefiting from higher 3D prices, bigger gross than San Andreas with less audience. Edited June 26, 2015 by PaloMinion

Purple Minion
DBZ had a good hold (about 40% of the OW audience), compared with other similar movies ... and still against IO and JW. A 80% fall is very unlikely.
