jerem4502
Opening 14h Paris : 1.Hôtel Transylvanie 2660 admissions for 18 theaters. Very good with the holidays, the film will go to several million admissions. After it's more difficult for other movies 2. Flight 1488 admissions (18 theaters)3. Les Misérables 1316 admissions (22 theaters) really not terrible, but not surprised. In France, the reviews are very bad. English subtitles + musical = flop. 4. Passion admissions 914 (13 theaters) good. 5.Turf 449 admissions (15 theaters) major disaster. Edited February 14, 2013 by jerem4502

juni78ukr
I think not making a dubbed version was also a mistake in Russia.
Fullbuster
Maybe the French hate English.. No, they just don't like the original versions, they prefer dubbed movies and TV shows. It's not about English, it's about French people being lazy.
POLYLOVE
No, they just don't like the original versions, they prefer dubbed movies and TV shows. It's not about English, it's about French people being lazy. More and more Chinese perfer original movies, although their English are not good....Les Mis in China will be shown in English only. But most likely it will flop like France....

lab276
January admissions were down nearly 11% from last year, 14.4m. Really contrasts with the excellent results in the UK and (presumably) Germany.

IndustriousAngel
Germany's perfect January was only thanks to strong home business; Hollywood films were down compared to last year as nearly everywhere.
