Rsyu
Projected total for TF4? $70M+? Yeah I'd say $70 million plus is realistic. It's coming out as summer holidays start for schools so weekdays will likely be strong. One thing against it is the pre-release ratings is extremely low (6.12/10) but I suspect it won't matter all too much for a film like TF4. TF3 had the biggest opening of all time in South Korea ($21.8 million) so it's opening week will be a major indicator of the kind of gross we can expect. Rsyu
What's going to be EoT total?Provided it has similar week to week drops as it did in week 2 (-45.5%) It could have weekly gross of $4-5 million in week 3. The week after is TF4 so business will practically end. Edited June 16, 2014 by Rsyu

Rsyu
Edge of tomorrow has a repeat viewing rate of 2.1% so far. This is around the same number as Days of future past (2.2%), Captain America: The winter soldier (2.0%) and much higher than TASM2 (1.2%). This is particularly impressive because unlike latter films EoT is an original Sci-fi film with no original fan base to rely upon. People responded to the quality of the film and it proves again the box office power of Tom Cruise in Korea. It should be higher than those action movies
Rsyu
How do they check that? CGV (one of the biggest movie chains in Korea) research it and make periodic reports. I don't know the exact method they employ but I'd imagine it's a combination of both pre-sale identification and polls.

It has no realistic milestones left to hit in any case Edit: well there's TASM2's gross I guess but it looks difficult. Maybe if it gets a lot of screens back for a final weekend.
