zackzack
Any feel on how this movie would perform OS? At $7M, is the Russian opening any good? Edited August 15, 2013 by zackzack
Simionski
Any feel on how this movie would perform OS? At $7M, is the Russian opening any good? I think it should do Oblivion numbers overseas so between 180-200M but it's still too early to tell.
zackzack
Around $300M WW thereabout. I hope this could do $400M WW. More original scifi, more.
Manu Delpech
300 M WW would be a nice success for it.

Will Hunting
This should match Oblivion OS easily. I see Battleship-Wrath of the Titans numbers. Around 220m OS and 300m WW.

I saw it and I thought it was pretty entertaining. But a couple of things: It is unnecessarily violent (body parts exploding). I don't know if PG13 would propel it to blockbuster status but at least it would help. It is also relentlessly dystopian.

A Marvel Fanboy
No, it wont get anywhere close to 40m in China, poor legs (which is a certain) and bad release date wont allow that.
acab
Good numbers for Elysium. OS markets could save the day. It has a very good chance of reaching 160m.
