I think it's possible to make Shaun the Sheep numbers. Though a local animation KWAI BOO opens closely on Thursday. Then another one the next Thursday.

 

Some movies, including some local ones, just release on random dates ...

Thanks for the compilation. Of the three, Little Guardian of the Door looks most technically impressive. Master Jiang looks like an overkill. I like the feel of Chinese Flowering Crabapple but seems too serious for an animation?

They're just low budget animated film, less than 100M Yuan. 

Little Door God's budget is $11M. 

My favorite is Big Fish & .... (Da Hai) but i believe the biggest box office will be Crazy Nian (Ning Hao & Xu Zheng).

Wait, I just realized....if JBM manages to pass LiT than that would mean the two biggest (local) movies in the market, ever, opened on the same weekend      !!! I don't think such a thing has ever before occured anywhere, in the history of Cinema, EVER!!!!

All, ALL, doubts about the market finally slowing down (growth rate wise) have ended. Even after having grown consistently for so many years, the market's year-on-year growth has only increased. If this could increase so much over such a monstrous month from the previous year than their is no more doubt in my mind about the market or its future potential.
