MH going to do 44m today -45% w/o/w, nice little bump even though it dropped to 17% showtimes. running at 32% of ticket sales.  Yesterday was 20/31. the more they drop it the higher the tickets per screen average. most movies tend to drop with the ST count. Its a big sign of strength and WOM. 2.2b locked at this point. If these idiots wake up and smell the catfood and give it a proper %, it may have a shot FF7.

Its getting stronger as other movies(except TMK) are fading fast and they are gravitating toward the big hit

It'll be behind FF7 this weekend but gain ground with summer weekdays. Next weekend FF7 had a holiday. Its on track to be 35-40m short of FF7 at 30 days.

Can it make 10% more after 30 days like Lost in Thailand? which would get it close.

With openers and JB fading hard it may be able to keep it showtimes at 20% next weekend and give it a chance

with 50% drops, its held better than that at times. might come in second today

Other estimates put MH Sat over 80m. Next week only To the Force, one major release, thinking 10m/18m/29m/28m = 85m 3.5 days for TtF. MH #1 for 28 days.

 

F7 is probably going down ...

 

If MH continues its sub 40% weekend drops for the next few weeks, it would total 2.5B+. There are also Chinese Valentine Day bump and Sep holiday (9.3~9.5) bump in its favor. so ...
