China has also ease Imported Film release to reach that record - though it's really worrying that some films aren't working like for MI7 (I expected ¥1500M+ but what it did ?) Wonder Family which was supposed to be a ¥5000M Grossers end up with toxic WOM.

 

Random Works, Like LiTS, NSN and local animation has surprised and now No More Bets, We even defeated All-Time July Record.

 

If Market continues to deliver as what July WOM works did, we are possibly beating 2019 record -

Honestly Wonder Family didn't work out only because it was just so bad. The WOM on Chinese social media is horrendous.

I noticed how in China there are a lot of film watch groups organized by people from different cities, kind of like how people are organizing rewatches for Interstellar on IMAX, but these happen when the movie's first released. Participants get a lot of official freebies and fan made freebies. Very interesting, only noticed it recently because I am searching for information about Oppeneheimer.
