riczhang
So weird, I thought LA was supposed to be the koo koo group but doing better there in prredicts then any other precursor so farThey're not too cuckoo. They get a lot of flak because they've taken to awarding Korean actresses the past few years. They do award some not frontrunner and consensus stuff, but they'll all be people in contention. Henry is actually a pretty out there choice for them. Last year they had Descendants for Picture, Malick for Director, Fassy for Actor, Chastain, Plummer, and Separation for screenplay. Not terribly out of left field or anything. Edited December 9, 2012 by riczhang

riczhang
And when did Waltz get shifted to supporting, I was under the impression that Weinstein was campaigning him for lead.

TLK
LA awards are the only ones that are really influential here and they appear to be doing a good job so far. Other two are meh. Boston could've redeemed themselves by giving Emma Watson a supporting actor but they fucked up.
TLK
Amy Nicholson @TheAmyNicholson Can't say who, but I can say there was a semi-ironic doc vote for KATY PERRY.

Leo's the only one with a good chance that fits this bill, so I'll stick with him.
