Animated movie 'Inside Out 2'  raked in 88.8 Million pesos on its first day run in the Philippines, according to Disney Southeast Asia-Philippines, making it the  biggest opening day of 2024 in the country.

This record also makes 'Inside Out 2'  the third biggest film opening of all time in the Philippines, next to 'Avengers: Endgame' and 'Avengers: Infinity War.'

'Inside Out 2' now holds the record for the biggest opening day of all time for an animated film in the Philippines.

Amazing!!

Solid afternoon (and evening which is starting) sales in major malls and regional malls.

Real test will really be tomorrow where sales must really go strong the moment malls open at Lunch.

I agree now with @kayumanggi that we must really check Ayala, Robinsons, and Megaworld Cinemas. That really catapulted those Wednesday numbers

Crazy. And there's another holiday coming. 🤯
And yeah, I wish we had data from the other chains as well.

2.3M for two days for INSIDE OUT II.

Thinking a solid increase today (Friday) and then Sat/Sun? Well, let's not jinx what it can do

This will become our top grossing film this year by... Friday? Maybe Saturday to be more safe. Not the best thing to brag tho this year

PH in a nutshell: Disney, Superheroes from US & Vice Ganda, Kathyrn Bernardo from local.

Output from these 4 were mixed at best from 2022-2023 and kinda brought the box office down with it.

Insidious was THAT film. Not even The Nun II can replicate the buzz it had. Happy for Barbie last year too. Both became event films
