Last year, we had seven films above 4 M. This year already ties it with 4 months still to go.

That's awesome. The Philippines BO potential is still growing, very nice. Do they have plans to build and expand new theaters over there? It takes A Man and A Wonan number is very impressive. Always great to see locals movies doing well, not just Hollywood ones. I gotta start checking out these Filippino movies one day.

Yes, because the middle class is expanding. I also think piracy is not as rampant like before.

The SM Supermalls, a chain of shopping malls owned by the richest person here is the most prolific in building malls. They even have malls in China. They have 10 malls planned for construction from this year up to 2015. And that's just them. Their competitors are building malls too.

This one in Cebu is going to be the 4th biggest in the world once finished.

This one is in China. Crazy design! Will be the biggest free-standing mall in the world.

And yeah, IT TAKES A MAN AND A WOMAN did really well here. That movie was in 2D. Not a fan though. lol

By the way, what is your nationality?

Glad to hear that. And those mall designs look amazing.I'm American. I have a bit of Vietnamese in me though. I guess that's why I'm very interested in and fascinated with lots of Asian countries' cultures, cuisine, entertainment, landmarks, economy, people, etc... They're pretty great.
