She just is way too dramatic. I know shes trying to act humble and stuff but at least she is referencing princess diaries and tdkr. Plus ill take her speeches over DDL. He is a great actor but his speeches are so boring.

 

DDL is a huge hit or miss with me. Sometimes it's endearing but sometimes it comes off as bland.

Yeah. That was a good year for Speeches. Him and TIlda were both amazing. Last year's speeches were pretty top notch too.

Apart of bragging about movie offers like she's so deserving Oscar fame after those long years of striving to get one of her movie in one theater in a semi-jokingly fashion like she's kinda drunk to endear interviewer and audience even if you know that there's an inheritent bitchiness and bitterness behind that PR stunt that keeps on surfacing every time she speaks, nothing wrong really.

I've only seen Sugar Man. It seems like the one that's most likely to win but the academy do have a tendency to go for films that are IMPORTANT more than films about art like Sugar Man.Btw, that guy's songs are so great. I've been listening to them a lot acts watching the film a couple days ago.

Yes, his music is indeed pretty good. Better than the film, and more interesting than the man himself. Seriously, he was the most boring, ordinary guy possible. I guess I cant blame him for that, but as a subject for a documentary he wasn't fascinating.

I thought his story was very fascinating, but he himself was very guarded, he wasn't a hugely charismatic guy who wanted to spill everything about his story like the Man on Wire guy or something. But they didn't even interview Rodriguez that much anyway.
