peludo
Pamela McClintock @PamelaDayM 33s Romantic comedy 'Ocho Apellidos Vascos' becomes top-grossing Spanish film of all time in Spain w/$35.2m for @UniversalPics She said spanish speaking, The Impossible and The others are in english. IMO, she means the biggest Spanish film for Universal. She says nothing about language. Anyway, it will reach The Others during next week and if it drops normally (if it start to drop some day ), The Impossible should fall too.

The Impossible, from 4th weekend, did another 10 million € more. With a proportional run from now, 8AV would finish with 40-41 million €, very close to Titanic (41 million) and The Impossible (42). peludo
From BO.com [*]'Ocho Apellidos Vascos' Becomes the Highest Grossing Spanish Film of All Time Well, this is a mistake. Both The Others (27 million) and The Impossible (42) are Spanish films and both grossed more than 8AV in Spain... for the moment.

Just to say that The Orphanage did not gross 24.8 million but a bit more, 25,061,450 € exactly, according Ministry of Culture. Anyway, 8AV will have surpassed that amount too.
