ScareLol
In The Heights flops and debuts with $133K. It's numbers are similar to Freaky and Let Him Go
ScareLol
Mediocre numbers for AQP II and HWB. In The Heights flops
ScareLol
We have a new number #1 on town, Operacion Camaron, Spanish comedy from Mediaset (Lo Dejo Cuando Quiera, Si Yo Fuera Rico). Spirit Untamed goes up on Friday to #3 (it was at #5 on Thursday) and French film Le Bonheur des uns debuts at #10 Edited June 26, 2021 by ScareLol
ScareLol
F9 is releasing on Friday and pre-sales are the best of the pandemic in my theatre with 1 day left. I will post them tomorrow
ScareLol
F9 PRE-SALES (D-0) CINESA MANOTERAS CINESA EQUINOCCIO CINESA MORALEJA CINESA LORANCA TOTAL F9 120/1946 251/651 265/470 464/613 1100/3680 (29,89%) THE CONJURING 3 57/1439 147/557 75/366 217/525 496/2887 (17,18%) CRUELLA 53/1776 74/731 49/411 41/522 217/3440 (6,31%) GVK 185/892 216/273 65/113 114/192 580/1470 (39,46%) Well F9 exploded on last day with two theaters above 50% total capacity. The only warning here is Manoteras lagging behind but theatre is underperforming compared to the other 3 for every major release. Let's compare things 2,21x The Conjuring 3 (€3,38M OW) 5,07x Cruella (€3,37M OW) 1,90x GVK (€2,80M OW) F5-F8 grossed around €4M OW and Hobbs & Shaw grossed €2,21M. I think €2.5-2.6M OW could be conservative. Let's wait for Friday to have a better picture
ScareLol
F9 grosses 800K on Friday and becomes the best Friday for a film during the pandemic. And that's with the football match yesterday. We could see +€2.5M OW
ScareLol
F9 grosses +€1M on Saturday and becomes the best Saturday of the pandemic for any film. On Saturday, 230k people were at the cinemas, best day of the entire year (and pandemic-wise)
ScareLol
F9 grosses €2.7M OW and becomes the biggest opening weekend since 2019. Box Office is up 100% compared to last weekend (best weekend since pandemic started). And Black Widow is releasing this Friday (with Thursday previews) so this bodes well for the film
charlie Jatinder
On 7/5/2019 at 12:34 PM, peludo said: Presales (Kinépolis Madrid) Far from home: Friday - 16 showtimes - 1,862 tickets sold - 8,020 total seats (23.22%) 14 showtimes were added on Wednesday evening. That is the reason of the low occupation. The 2 showtimes which have been available several days (970 total seats each) are 70% and 58% full respectively. Black Widow T-3 Days Friday - 8 showtimes - 489/3012 (16.23%) Wonder if I tracked other Kinepolis. Total seats are ignoring social distancing, so actual available seats are like 2K approx, i.e. 24.5% pre-sales Edited July 6, 2021 by charlie Jatinder
ScareLol
Pre-sales for 9PM previews of Black Widow CINESA MANOTERAS - 209/428 (48,83%) (2 shows) CINESA MORALEJA - 114/201 (56,71%) (3 shows) CINESA EQUINOCCIO - 141/246 (57,32%) (3 shows) CINESA PLAZA LORANCA 2 - 151/266 (56,76%) (4 shows) This is looking quite strong. Manoteras pre-sales are amazing (F9 sold 120 tickets for Friday in 13 shows). I will post pre-sales for Friday tomorrow night 2

ScareLol
BLACK WIDOW PRE-SALES (D-0) CINESA MANOTERAS CINESA EQUINOCCIO CINESA MORALEJA CINESA LORANCA TOTAL BLACK WIDOW 286 252 143 309 990 tickets sold F9 120 251 265 464 1100 tickets sold CRUELLA 53 74 49 41 217 tickets sold WW84 169 132 86 146 533 tickets sold GVK 185 216 65 114 580 tickets sold My tracking system was a bit fucked up and F9 total seat count was wrong (capacity was up from 50% to 65% but my seat count was 50%). It's looking good for BW counting Thursday previews which were massive (+80% full in the 4 theatres) Comps: 0,9x F9 (€2,52M OW) 4,56x Cruella (€3,03M OW) 1,71x GVK (€2,52M OW) €2.7-2.8M OW is my bet here and with Manoteras going strong it could be a good sign. Let's wait for tomorrow numbers to have a better picture Edited July 8, 2021 by ScareLol
ScareLol
F9 continues at #1. New Santiago Segura comedy (Padre no hay más que uno) debuts at #2 with the biggest opening day for a Spanish film in 2021 (€200K) and Black Widow debuts at #3 only with 9PM previews
ScareLol
Black Widow grosses €600K on Friday and €140K on Thursday previews. Comparing that number to F9, it gives BW an OW of €2.1M (€2.24M with Thursday previews)
ScareLol
A todo Tren Destino Asturias grosses €260K on Friday and €200K on Thursday. Biggest OW for an Spanish film in 2021
ScareLol
Yesterday was the biggest Saturday of the pandemic with €1.8M. I think BW is headed for €2M OW or even less, a bit disappointing and frontloaded
ScareLol
Disappointed with this numbers. BW was frontloaded as hell (my prediction was way-off) and it grosses only $2.2M (€1.85M), way behind F9's €2.8M
ScareLol
Surprise. The Forever Purge debuts at #1 and Black Widow drops to #2 on Friday. On Saturday BW could go back to #1. Peter Rabbit 2 underperforms and debuts at #
