The score also never impressed me, not sure why crazy fans basically forced the Academy to nominate it. It's fine if you don't like the film, but the score? Yeah, you're nuts. The ONLY reason why HTTYD didn't win Best Animated Film Oscar that year was because it was going up against Toy Story 3. NOTHING was going to stop TS3 from winning. As for Shark Tale, I wonder how that would've done if it was released in the last few years and not during the whole computer animated movie boom in 2004. Well I'm a Disney stockholder (though not a big enough one to make a difference, obviously). I'd love it if Pixar killed the Cars franchise now. As is, I'm bracing for Cars 3.
