The Movie Man
Replace it with Obama and that post describes how everyone feels about you.FYI there is a big difference in not turning on a tv show and ignoring the horrible job a president does as an American citizen living in America. Rudolf
Once again I tried to watch a new episode last night and found it completely humorless. The acting seems to have gotten really bad, it's so try-hard now. Does everyone in that family need to have a witty fast talking personality? Just seems forced.good observationI've often asked that myself in a lot of different shows. As if they were always in a hurry. Sometimes they address the fact that Gloria is not a native speaker. Othertimes she speaks the same way evryone else does. Of course members of the same family tend to mimikry one another especially the kids, but in TV shows the writers shine through a lot. DAR
I don't get the point your trying to make or what it has to do with the show. As for last night it was certainly different from the usual set up. I thought the Jay and Gloria storyline was the best of the three. Rudolf
Manny is fat for a small kid however luke is normal... If Luke is considered normal, American perception is flawed. What really puzzles me is the contrast between the mothers Claire and Gloria, who look unnaturally healthy, fit and beautiful and their children Manny, Luke and Alex, who are at the start of a very promising obeesity carreer. The Pritchets are very ofen in Hospital. Is that typcal for an average American family?

Rudolf
Luke and Alex are overweight? Come on... If Luke were my son, I would try to get him more interested in sports. If Alex were my daughter, I would try to be more compasionate than Ariel Winter's mother, who alianated her by forcing her to diet..

I could understand Luke since he has some baby fat but Alex is in the perfect weight.

Is that typcal for an average American family?Well one time they went to the hospital because Gloria had the baby. That's standard issue.
